Mission Ready Counseling

For Every Mission In Your Life

You Are Not A Damaged Failure!

Finding yourself surrounded by people and feeling alone is a tough place to be. You look around and know that you should belong, but you don’t. You are different than you used to be. The lens you see the world through has changed and you have lost your place. Your military training served you well downrange, but now that you are back, you have realized you weren’t trained to come home. You feel broken; you have lost a lot, maybe a brother-in-arms, maybe your soul.

Military life can be challenging for many different reasons. The endless PCSing, waiting for Orders, waiting for the second set of Orders, looking up neighborhoods, schools, and medical providers at your new duty station. Constant calls to TRICARE to check your Region, change your Region, find out who your PCM is only for it to be changed before you even had one appointment. These are just a few examples of things that we deal with. We provide a secure, empathetic place that supports Service Members and their spouses, children, and families. We see people from all eras, along with those who are Active Duty, Retires, or ETS’d.

You CAN learn how to move forward with your life.

You CAN learn how to honor your past while embracing your future.

Let’s be honest - life sucks sometimes and people are going to annoy the sh*t out of you, but you don’t have to stay stuck with that feeling.

Our mission is to meet you where you are and guide you through the confusion. We are not an expert on you'; you are the expert on you! We know about what works and what has helped others. We join a mission with you to teach you how to come “home.” In order to provide the best treatment we believe that we must “be in your boots” - we don’t expect you to adapt to us, it’s our job to adapt to your needs.

These are confusing times!

Raising kids is already a tough job, but by yourself is more than challenging, it is exhausting. You find your kids sleeping on the floor while you clean, piling in your bed so they are not alone, or even being angry more often, all because they are confused with only one parent available. You don’t want to have an emotional disconnect with your family. You want to build Read more…
